.....soul-mate.....

May 15, 2008 / by queenie

A soul mate helps to awaken your soul and makes it easier for you to learn the lessons you are meant to learn.

.......the soul mate is not the lesson, they help you learn your lessons and support that growing process!

In my efforts to understand where I am in my life, I visit numerous websites dealing with relationships, adversity, etc.    The need to comprehend how I've gotten to where I am, and more importantly, how to get to where I want to be, sometimes overwhelms me.

Perserverance or stubbornness?   Depends on who you ask....

It's becoming more apparent to me that maybe soul-mates aren't meant to be together (I don't really believe that, but I'm trying to convince myself.)   I do consider myself one of the rare blessed people who have found their soul-mate.    He awakened my soul and allowed me the freedom of learning many of life's valuable lessons.

I truly understand and agree with your take on soul-mates. Very well written.

Some Soul Mates just come and help and go, some stay, like my husband we've been married 28 years now. And it hasn't been easy, so YES we did come together to help each other through LIFE/LESSONS.

Think about the Eastern Thought that we have perhaps thousands of lives, so soul mates come in many ways. I do believe we are connected and the souls come back in groups, and have different roles each time. Like my son could of been my mom, that sort of thing.

Of interest to me these days is DNA, proving we are connected to many people, AYESART here at blogster and greasy.com, has many post on his research into his DNA/Roots and he's still going with it.

He has found he is  cousins with his wife, like 16 cousins back.

    So it's very interesting.

    Blessings...of Soul growth...
