Blown out over the hills
The weak lying on the ground

The clouds replaced by sunshine
How do I know if we made it through?

Everything's covered in a fine dust
The sparkle and shine are missing
Am I still someone you will trust?
Another storm has passed
The one that rages in my heart
Are fear, anger, pride, the cause
Or the knowledge that someday we'll part?

I was going to say that, too...greeting cards! Or a website that offers poems, verses, one-liners for people to use who may be at a loss of words. (I've seen them!)
